Academic Curriculum

Sunshine is proud of its strong academic tradition. The School believes that a good education is the key to the development of character, values and morals. With this aim in view, Sunshine strives to offer a well balanced education, with particular emphasis on the intellectual, physical and spiritual development of each pupil of the school.

The typical Sunshine week starts on Sunday and ends on Thursday with eight periods each day. Extracurricular activities are an integral part of school life and hence has dedicated time slots within the timetables and curriculum.

Homework is set for pupils for every school day. Primary and Junior homeworks have been designed to take up a maximum of one hour of home work per day. Middle and Senior class homework can range between 2 and 4 hours every day. It is expected that students of Grade X, XI and XII shall be studying for at least 16 hours a week at home to do their homework and personal study for school tests.
